Professional legal support for tax lien buyers, so you can be rest-assured that you have completed the actions required by the state post-sale.
After you purchase a tax lien in West Virginia, you have a lot to take care of as the buyer. Without an attorney to handle this for you, you will find the process challenging at best and impossible at worst. Don't let your investment go to waste. We find the interested parties entitled to redeem the property, complete the Notice to Redeem, and send the information needed to the State Auditor to complete the redemption process and ensure our fees are reimbursed to you should the property be redeemed. Remember - the State will only reimburse professional service fees related to the title search if it is performed by a licensed West Virginia Attorney. Let us help you through the process so you have the best chance to secure ownership of a property.
Our Tax Lien Services
1
Title Search
We provide a title search service designed to identify all relevant parties and determine those who are legally entitled to redeem the property. Please note - this process does not result in a certificate of title. Should you require a full title search and certificate of title, let us know.
2
Prepare Notice to Redeem
After all relevant parties have been identified, we will proceed with preparing a formal notice to redeem. This notice will be issued to the appropriate parties, informing them of their right to redeem the property and outlining the necessary steps and deadlines for doing so.
3
Send Packet to Auditor
After the notice to redeem forms have been accurately completed, we will compile and send a comprehensive packet to the State Auditor for further processing and review. This packet will include all necessary documentation to ensure that the redemption process proceeds smoothly and in accordance with the relevant regulations.
4
First Round Supplemental Notice
The first round of supplemental notices that need to be sent out will be handled by us at no additional cost. We will ensure that these notices are properly prepared and distributed to the relevant parties as part of our comprehensive service.
